Lucy joined Ward & Rider in September 2003 on a gap year before starting University. Lucy then went on to study law at Nottingham Trent University followed by the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. During these four years she returned to work at Ward & Rider during each vacation.
Lucy came back to Ward & Rider full time to complete her training contract and after qualifying as a solicitor in September 2010, now works in our Wills & Probate Department where she prepares Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, makes applications for Grants and administers estates and makes applications to the Court of Protection for Deputyship Orders.
Lucy comments “I thoroughly enjoy working at Ward & Rider and in particular in the Wills & Probate department. My clients appreciate that I’m approachable and easy to talk to, during what can often be a very difficult time for them.”
In her spare time Lucy enjoys spending time with her family, watching live gigs, travelling and shopping.
