Since 1948, when the Company was established, it has developed a reputation for quality and excellence.

Our main office is still situated in the heart of Coventry City Centre making us easily accessible to the people of Coventry and the surrounding areas.

We aim to keep our clients at the heart of our work and in doing this we build lasting, trusting relationships. When we take on a new claim, we do everything we can to achieve the very best outcome for the client. We keep our clients up to date with the progression of their claim and explain everything at every step, so that they feel informed and reassured.

Ward & Rider prides itself on the hard working attitude of each of our lawyers and we are confident that they will always strive to provide an outstanding service. Our continued desire to offer a personal, straight forward service that accommodates the needs of our clients is what sets us apart.

At Ward & Rider Solicitors we respect the past, but we recognise that the requirements of our customers are always changing. The legal sector is constantly evolving and we are committed to being at the forefront of it.
Ward & Rider Solicitors are passionate about providing our clients with an outstanding service, delivered with all the efficiencies of modern day working practices.

Jason Claridge (Managing Director)

While we embrace the changes of our industry, one thing remains constant: trust. Individuals and families across Coventry and the Midlands still trust Ward & Rider to deliver outstanding legal services, just as they did 74 years ago.

Ward & Rider Solicitors was founded in 1948 by two ex-servicemen, Mr Norman Ward LLB and Mr William Henry Rider LLB.

A newspaper article of the time stated that both men were from Coventry and were “born o’er the bridge”, which is an old Coventry saying for people who were born in the Foleshill area of the City.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Company in 2008, The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of the City presented a “memorial plaque” in recognition of the firm’s 60 years of service to the people of Coventry and the Midlands.
