Chris joined Ward & Rider as an Outside Investigator in July 2018 after retiring from  West Midlands Police where she was a detective for 15 years and underwent National Negotiator Training.

Chris is married with one daughter and also sits on the Chair of Governors at her local Primary School.

Outside of work, Chris loves long dog walks, trips to the theatre, nights out with friends and also reading and wine tasting.
