Project Description

Barrington Atkins acted for a claimant in Reading who was a pedestrian but walking with his bicycle beside him at the time of the accident. The bicycle was used as a walking support as the claimant had severe ongoing back problems. The claimant stopped for a moment and at that point was reversed into from behind, by a large sized taxi vehicle.

Liability was disputed and never admitted by the third party driver who contended that he had not ever been in reverse; although the claimant was able to produce photographs of the third party vehicle displaying its reverse lights.
