We are looking for a costs draftsman to join our costs team. The ideal candidate will have least 2 years’ experience however we are happy to consider applicants who do not have this but can demonstrate a willingness to learn and a passion to succeed.

The role will be working alongside our Performance Director and Head of Costs providing support to the firms PI and Medical Negligence lawyers.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from individuals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who have:-

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Computer keyboard skills
  • Experience of using a case management system and costs database (beneficial but not essential)

The Role

This role will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Production of Costs Budgets
  • Producing statute bills
  • Completing fixed costs applications
  • Monitoring settlement files
  • Drafting narratives and case synopses
  • Monitoring directions as against budgets
