Personal Injury Settlement for Bar Customer

Ward & Rider Solicitors acted for Miss H from Northampton on a No Win No Fee basis.  Miss H was with friends on a night out in Northampton when she slipped and fell on water or other liquid left lying on the sloping floor of the bar which she and her friends were visiting.

Liability for Miss H's accident was denied throughout the claim and Miss H suffered a broken ankle as a result of the accident.

We made a no win no fee claim for Miss H's injuries, as well as claims for loss of earnings and travelling expenses.

As the bar's insurance company continued to deny liability for the accident we issued proceedings on behalf of Miss H in the Northampton County Court.

After the issue of proceedings Ward & Rider Solicitors and the Defendant's Solicitors reached an agreed settlement of Miss H's accident claim without admission of liability for the total sum of £4,000.
