£8,000 Compensation Following a Rear Shunt RTA
Mrs C*, a Coventry based Client, had her no win no fee claim handled by Personal Injury Lawyer, David Bull at Ward & Rider Solicitors.
The Claimant was the driver of a vehicle which was rear shunted whilst stationary at a traffic island.
Initial instructions were received by Ward & Rider Solicitors and investigations were commenced into liability. The Defendant’s insurers advised that liability was admitted and efforts were then made to obtain medical evidence in support of the claim.
The Claimant sustained a personal injury including soft tissue injuries to her neck and back as well as her shoulder.
These injuries had aggravated a pre-existing condition and further medical reports were required.
A schedule of loss was prepared which claimed travelling expenses, parking charges, medication charges etc.
Negotiations were then entered into with the Third Party’s Insurers resulting in an award of £8,000 compensation.
As this was a no win no fee case Mrs C’s legal fees were also paid by the Defendant’s Solicitors.
* Mrs C’s name has been changed to respect her privacy but this is a true compensation claims case.
